Notably, Mike was instrumental in scaling SunTrust Leasing to over $7.5 billion in assets. His track record of building successful financial institutions includes co-founding and serving as COO for both Bridge Capital (BankUnited) and BciCapital (City National Bank of Florida), each achieving $1.5 billion in assets under his operational leadership. Further underscoring his financial expertise, Mike served as Director of Public Finance at BciCapital for five years, where he oversaw the management of over $500 million in escrow accounts. Earlier in his career at SunTrust Leasing, as General Counsel and COO, Mike spearheaded the negotiation, funding, and escrow management of all municipal lease transactions, growing the escrow portfolio to well over $1 billion and the municipal lease portfolio to $3.2 billion. He replicated this success at BciCapital, managing a $125 million annual volume with over $500 million in escrow accounts during his tenure.
